An American woman in 2007 said she was attracted to inanimate objects. She had ‘married’ the Eiffel Tower that year, in what was described as a commitment ceremony that took place in Paris, France. However, now 50-year-old Erika LaBrie is now bored of her relationship with the Eiffel Tower and is now drawn to a fence, which she wants to get to know better. Woman is characterized as a sexual objectum, which is an expression for someone who is romantically or sexually attracted to inanimate objects.
LaBrie, an object sex advocate and competitive archer, was recently seen in a now-viral TikTok video straddling a red fence as she revealed her feelings for the chiseled structure. “Fences are such dangerous objects to me because they are so perfect in their geometry,” LaBrie explains. “I’m definitely physically attracted to this fence and would like to get to know it better,” she adds. The viral TikTok video captures her discussing what draws her to the fence as she makes up her mind. This is an excerpt from a TLC program on Objectophilia.
There have been many reports of people being romantically or sexually attracted to inanimate objects over the past month. A German, Sarah Rodo, opened up about her romance with a Boeing 737 she affectionately calls Dicki.
More recently, after an old film from the documentary My Strange Addiction resurfaced online, the story of a man having sex with his car has gone viral.
