“I would say the biggest word would be tricky, very tricky. Obviously we’re doing what we can where we’re at, and then we’re trying to do movie magic to work our way through some of the hardest things. But we had an incredible diversity spot on the Sacre Coeur scout, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, amazing places everywhere I mean we were in Aqaba, Jordan for our opening sequence. Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Osaka. We hope we brought all these great images to the screen.

During the interview, Stahelski also revealed that he couldn’t bring the chaotic energy of the franchise to the Louvre because it was impossible to shoot a big action scene there. Checking out the possibility of making a scene at the Louvre, Stahelski recalls officials worrying about possible chaos. The director said: “They laughed, ‘You’re not going to shoot anything, are you?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know. Can I?’ And I was like, ‘Just kidding. We just want to shoot at the Louvre.'” Even so, Stahelski assures that fans will like what happens at the Louvre. As he describes the scene

“Let’s say we shot a really cool scene at the Louvre. They kinda – you start shooting and blasting shit next to a Caravaggio, they get kinda pissed off. But no, they were wonderful. They let us in and make a great scene there.
