Liverpool fans thronged the Eiffel Tower ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final in Paris.
The gardens around the iconic landmark were a sea of red as hundreds of fans got into the mood ahead of Liverpool FC’s huge game against Real Madrid. LFC will be hoping to lift the trophy for the seventh time on Saturday after their last league victory in Madrid in 2019.
When thousands of fans arrived in the French capital, they made their way to the Eiffel Tower to have a drink, sing and dance. Fans were seen singing Virgil Van Dijk’s song and singing about Andy Robertson.

Fans also swarmed the nearby Bistro L’Avenue where they shouted Go Go Go down the street. Footage captured by an ECHO reporter showed a sea of people in red shirts singing the chant, as passing motorists honked their horns in unison.
Fans were jumping up and down, cheering and some banging tables while singing in the street. Between 50,000 and 60,000 supporters are expected by bus, train, plane and boat for the final at the Stade de France.
We will follow their journey and join them in Paris all weekend and we would like to know how you are all doing.
