A matching GWP for the rumored LEGO ICONS 10307 Eiffel Tower would still be released alongside the massive set.
Following an update on the rumored LEGO ICONS 10307 Eiffel Tower potential release on Black Friday, a new report indicates that the model will still come with a themed gift with purchase. First reported in February this year, 40579 Eiffel’s Apartment could also arrive next month, alongside what is believed to be a massive 10,001 room set.
Instagram user brick_clicker doubled down on the original story regarding the model, stating that 40579 Eiffel’s Apartment may indeed still be a GWP exclusive when 10307 Eiffel Tower launches. The original report also stated that the smaller set would most likely represent the apartment of the tower’s engineer, Gustave Eiffel, located 285m at the top of the Paris monument.
Additionally, brick_clicker mentions in a video on his YouTube channel that the vignette-style GWP can include three unique figurines in the form of Eiffel himself, his daughter Claire, and famed inventor Thomas Edison. If this were the case, the figurines would correspond to three mannequins of historical figures exhibited at the Eiffel Apartment since 2015.
There has been no word from the LEGO Group so far regarding the possible existence of either set. For now, it’s best to treat all of the above information as pure speculation until confirmation is forthcoming.
