PARIS, Sept 28 (Reuters) – French fashion house Yves Saint Laurent paraded outdoors in front of the illuminated Eiffel Tower to showcase designer Anthony Vaccarello’s summer collection of elegant evening wear.
Guests, including Kpop star Rose of Blackpink, sneaked into the venue under moody clouds as night began to fall, stopping for selfies in front of a huge flowing water fountain, while the crowd lined up on the esplanade overlooking the room.
The models emerged from the darkness, slowly descending a wide staircase before walking around the fountain on towering heels.

They wore sheer, fitted dresses topped with sleek leather coats that had prominent shoulders and swept the floor.
Chunky bracelets and earrings complete the looks, a key designer signature.
Sticking mostly to monochromatic looks – the first model was dressed in olive tones – Vaccarello put silhouettes in the spotlight. They were slim with no frills, just touches of drape and the occasional asymmetrical cut.
After the parade, which closed the second day of Paris Fashion Week, guests including Carla Bruni and Rossy de Palma lingered for photos with friends.
